Design Philosophy

stems from her professional background and traditional academic training in interior design, contemporary art, and art history. Liz strives to create interiors that balance form, light, and color to evoke ineffable spaces that feel harmonious, clever, and pleasing.

Art, travel, and nature are Liz’s touchstones in creating bespoke designs that reflect the aesthetic and functional goals of her clients.

Teaching Philosophy

is based on evidence-based research on the value of experiential learning. Applying experiential learning to teaching, students are co-creators of their education through their participation. As a teacher, Liz encourages her students to absorb and apply new knowledge while also encouraging a passion for the interior design field. Integral components of her core teaching values are celebrating diversity, valuing equity, striving for inclusion, and creating a culture of belonging in the classroom for all students.
